50 YEARS OF PLAYHOUSE MEMORIES

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Leeds Playhouse, people were asked to share their memories of the Playhouse and what made it special to them. People shared childhood memories of playing outside with siblings, finding love, being served at the bar by those who later went on to become celebrities to finding friends in older age.

The artist Cait McEniff was commissioned to make illustrations to depict a selection of these memories alongside the quotes given. These are now on permanent display at Leeds Playhouse.
