ELLEN PAIGE LEACH
Ellen is a new media artist living and working in East Riding of Yorkshire (UK). Using digital photography to document, she immerses herself in the environment, focusing on shape, colour and texture. Her process involves breaking images apart until they become something new. Focussing on the data that makes up the fabric of the image, she aims to highlight beauty within imperfection - a process that produces the unexpected and unpredictable. These works are part of her Gairloch Collection that are site specific pieces formed from landscape photographs taken in the Scottish Highlands.
