KENNETH F YATES
(b. 1960 Liverpool, UK)
Kenneth F Yates’s work is urban; exploring issues of plastic waste, homelessness, and abandonment. Temporal existence (time and how it is experienced) is also an important theme to the artist who thinks of his work as a series of fractured narratives. Kenneth studied Fine Art at the University of Leeds, specialising in video art. As a filmmaker he has made creative films for Screen Yorkshire and North West Vision in England. His artwork has been exhibited in galleries in the UK and internationally and online. The artist recently received an international photography award for his abstract art photography; and he is also a writer interested in narrative.
