Wendy Galloway is a textile artist whose banner work takes inspiration from the 19th and 20th century banners carried by the miners and fishermen in Yorkshire. They are and were part tradition, part religious, and a lot of pride. These banners are constructed from recycled fabrics. Wendy lives on the Yorkshire coast. She studied Sculpture while at university and makes 3D textiles also.
