MATTHEW BAMBER
Matthew’s practice encompasses photography, collage and video. Using images that are sourced from the internet and his own personal collection he makes assemblages that explore violence, identity and greed. Recently, his work was included in a queer dictionary by The Feminist Library in London. During lockdown, he produced a series of works on queer domesticity, creating snapshots of the home as a site for identity construction. These pieces detail sentimental objects, used utensils, things he has made, selected from an archive of intimate, material objects built up over his lifetime.
