YVONNE BAINES
Yvonne is an artist based in Leeds (UK) who works with sculpture, photography and writing to explore ideas of the familiar and subtle moments of everyday life. There is often humour in the work and moments of quiet intimacy. With this work Yvonne uses traditional ceramics to subvert everyday moments that are often overlooked, but become something beautiful when made in ceramics. The work invites us as the audience to project our own personal stories onto the work and reflect on our own moments of humour and closeness in everyday life.
