HANNAH GUY

(b. 2002 Stourbridge, UK)

Hannah Guy’s practice specialises in the photographic study of dreams, time and memory. Key to Hannah's research is reconsidering the mundanities of the everyday that may reoccur as symbols, situations or allegories within dreams. By acknowledging the importance of visual language for authoring the human experience, Hannah designs verisimilitudes (which are spaces of the facade or a temporary lie that exists for the moment of capture) that allow these performances of myth to take place. The artist is a staged photographer and is currently studying Fine Art BA at the University of Leeds.
