Jonny Sutton’s use of striking colours and bold techniques demand that the viewer pay attention to the ordinary and the overlooked. Jonny is currently expanding their popular series Out of Sight which documents edge-lands and abandoned spaces with the use of infrared photography. The artist is an experimental landscape photographer and educator based in the North of England. Jonny’s work explores the unique ways of seeing made available by the camera; often using the northern landscape as the backdrop for their practice.
