Liz Tolan’s paintings are often based on photographs, her interest being the nature of the photographic image and how people appear when being photographed. Some of these photographs are family pictures and some are studio portraits from the past. Liz is based in Bradford, where she was born. She studied art in the late 60s and achieved a degree in Fine Art in 2011.
