PARIS CROSSLEY
Paris Crossley is a multidisciplinary artist with a strong background in street-dance. Her main style of dance is popping but she has trained in a variety of styles and is an active member of Fiya House crew. Her craft has led her to compete, teach, judge and perform within the UK and worldwide within competition, institutional, theatrical and commercial settings.
As for other skills, Paris is now actively engaging in martial-art practices such as Taiji as well as Afro-cuban percussion using the bongos and cowbell.
Using the knowledge gained from her BA in Psychology, MA in Music in Development and tools from HipHop culture, Paris is now focusing on creating social change. The social change she wishes to see is prevalent in her work, key areas of interest include for example migration and assimilation, refugee crises, bystander effect, interpersonal and interpersonal cultural relations and the relationship between HipHop and the system.
