PAMELA CROWE
Pamela Crowe is an artist and writer based in Leeds. She makes image, text, audio and indexical work about female options and female passivity. Also, the threshold in pain where creativity becomes possible and where it cannot. Her audio works – direct recordings of her text, poetry and book chapters – are an attempt to clarify the author’s voice and anchor it permanently to the text. She regularly performs her work live. Her poem ‘socks’ was shortlisted for the 2019 Bridport Poetry Prize.
